Hours: Full-time opportunities available (9-6pm either Mon-Fri or Tues-Sat)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £40-45k per annum – Depending on experience

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Lecturer to join our Higher Education team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging and high-quality teaching to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students. With a strong academic background and industry experience, you will contribute to curriculum development, student support, and research activities while fostering an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities - Experienced Business Lecturer

• Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and tutorials in Business and related disciplines.
• Design, develop, and enhance course materials and assessments in line with academic standards.
• Support and mentor students to help them achieve their academic and career aspirations.
• Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring courses remain current and industry-relevant.
• Engage in scholarly activities, research, and continuous professional development.
• Participate in quality assurance and enhancement processes, including module and program reviews.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and digital learning resources.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including employers and professional bodies, to enhance student employability opportunities.
• Contribute to the wider academic community through research, publications, and conferences.

Person Specification - Experienced Business Lecturer

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• A degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
• A Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) or PG Cert in Higher Education.
• A minimum of two years of lecturing experience in the UK Higher Education sector.
• Experience in developing and delivering innovative teaching and learning strategies.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary business practices and emerging industry trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

• A Master's or PhD in Business, Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience in supervising dissertations and research projects.
• Industry experience in business or management-related fields.
• Proficiency in using digital learning tools and technology-enhanced teaching methods.
