Primary SEN TA – Islington Primary School – ASAP start

A fantastic school in the London borough of Islington is looking for an exceptional Primary SEN TA to join their team to support students across various Key Stages.  

The ideal Primary SEN TA will have proven experience working with and supporting children with a range of needs, however experience with pupils with Autism is desirable.  You will be collaborating with Teachers, SENCOs and Therapists to support the students through a combination of 1:1 intervention, small group activities and general classroom support.

THE ROLE - Primary SEN TA

• Primary SEN TA
• £84.70 per day via PAYE or £96.30 via umbrella for the first 12 weeks – which will rise to £115-120 from week 13 in line with AWR, which is equivalent to a £23,355 actual salary
• Supporting targeted student with Special Educational Needs
• 1:1 support in and out of the classroom
• ASAP start after successful trial day
• Enhanced DBS Certificate required
• Full-time & long-term – 8:45am – 3:30pm, Monday-Friday – Term-Time Only (6 working hours, 45 mins unpaid break time)
• Ideal for those who are compassionate, calm, confident, motivational, and ideally experienced in working in similar SEN roles previously
