The Role - English Lecturer

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic English lecturer to join our team.

You will be teaching students of varying abilities – from Level 1 to Level 2 and GCSEs. You will work closely with the Assistant Director on delivering the highest quality education for every student.

With your valuable industry experience, you will help inspire the next generation of skilled experts, supporting people from all backgrounds to achieve their career and life ambitions.

You will also play a key role in promoting the courses across the al curriculum area, taking part in marketing events and sharing your experiences as an English teacher.

Skills and Experience

For this role, you will need to have:

• proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience
• You will have achieved a degree level in English related degree
• have a minimum of Level 2 numeracy (GCSE or equivalent)
• Be a qualified FE teacher (or be willing to work towards this)
• You will need to have great communication skills - able to articulate clearly and confidently to class groups, in an engaging way.
• You will also need efficient administration skills to support good student record-keeping.
