Are you a Graduate or an experienced Primary SEMH Teaching Assistant looking for to gain experience working within Education?

Are you an Experienced Primary SEMH Teaching Assistant, aspiring Teacher, Educational Psychologist or have ambitions within schools?

If you are, we have a Good OFSTED Rated Primary School in the London Borough of Islington who looking for a Primary SEMH Teaching Assistant and are keen to speak with both experienced and Graduate SEN Teaching Assistants who are looking for opportunities to work with SEN students, specifically with SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) difficulties.

You could have obtained experience working as a Primary SEMH Teaching Assistant / SEN TA or have graduated in any discipline, but the school are particularly interested in speaking with Psychology, Criminology and Psychotherapy Graduates. Also, anyone who has graduated in any degree relevant with SEN or Primary Education. Any aspiring Teachers, Educational Psychologists or Behaviour Mentors are encouraged to apply.

Job Details – Primary SEMH Teaching Assistant

  • Working with different abilities of student including supporting needs such as ASD, ADHD and SEMH.
  • Working across EYFS/KS1/KS2
  • ASAP start. Full-time, long-term role until at least July 2025 with an option to be extended into the following academic year
  • £90 - £105 per day – for the first 12 weeks

  • Recent Graduate in any discipline
  • Ambitious in Education. Any aspiring Teachers, Educational Psychologists or SENDCos are especially encouraged to apply.
  • Enthusiastic, Reliable and Empathetic
  • Must be able to work well within a team of Teaching Assistants
