SEN Teaching Assistant

 

Attention experienced SEN Teaching Assistants! We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and supportive individual to join our team at Bexley Primary School as a 1 to 1 SEN Teaching Assistant.

 

The successful candidate will have experience supporting primary aged children with Special Educational Needs and a strong understanding of how to effectively support their development and learning. A degree or TA qualification is preferred, but not essential.

 

As a 1 to 1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be making a difference in the lives of our pupils, providing one-on-one support to help them reach their full potential. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for helping children succeed.

 

We are offering a long-term role, starting immediately, with a pay range of £85 to £100 per day. This role has the potential to continue until July 2023 or even longer.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting primary aged children with Special Educational Needs
  • Degree or TA qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong understanding of how to support the development and learning of children with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient and supportive nature
