KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant – Greenwich
A happy and diverse Primary School in the Borough of Greenwich are looking to recruit a KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant.
As a KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be part of a dedicated and talented team who provide a friendly, caring and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, supported and happy so that they can be successful in their learning. The school is creative in its approach to learning and encourages children’s creativity as well as inspiring their curiosity at the beginning of their journey as lifelong learners.
The KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant role is long term and full time, for the rest of the academic year. You will be working with a child in Year 4 on a 1:1 basis, who has ADHD and presents with challenging behaviour in your role as a KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant.

JOB DESCRIPTION – KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant
- KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant
- Working in Year 4
- Working with a children on a 1:1 basis
- SEN Focus – ADHD and challenging behaviour
- Long Term & Full Time – until at least July 2025
- £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
PERSON SPECIFICATION – KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant
- Must have a degree from a reputable University
- Must have a strong academic background – A levels and GCSEs
- Experience working with SEN in a similar orle, or on a personal level, is ideal
- Calm and compassionate in nature
- Holds a registered DBS, or be willing to apply for one ASAP
