As a happy and successful Primary School in the borough of Harrow, we are on the hunt for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant!

We are looking for an experienced, high quality 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant with experience of supporting children with ASD. As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you would need to be happy to undertake intimate care duties as the child is not fully toilet trained. The child is also non verbal and very lively.

In your role as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a school with a real focus on teamwork and providing the best and most exciting education for children in their care.

1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

• Supporting a child in Year 2 with SEN on a 1:1 basis
• Working with a child who has ASD and is nonverbal
• Personal care required
• ASAP start – Long-term & full time, until at least July 2025
• £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
• Previous experience with SEN on either a professional or personal level is essential
• Holds a registered DBS or be willing to apply for one ASAP
• Graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted (2023)
• Harmonious and cohesive school community
• Positive attitudes to learning from the children
• Determination that every child will achieve and succeed
• Good transport links – access by road (onsite parking available), public transport (Metropolitan line), and bus routes
