Position: Lunchtime Supervisor
Location: Croydon, CR0
Hours: 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday (Term-time only)
Salary: £24 per day

We are currently seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team and help ensure our pupils enjoy a safe and positive lunchtime experience.

Role Overview:
As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will play an integral part in the smooth running of our lunch period. You will be responsible for supervising children during lunchtime, ensuring their safety, well-being, and enjoyment while eating. Your role will also involve encouraging good behaviour, promoting social interaction, and assisting with any minor issues that arise.

Lunchtime Supervisor responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children during lunchtime
• Assist children in the dining area, ensuring they are eating safely and appropriately
• Support positive behaviour and help manage any conflicts or issues that may arise
• Encourage healthy eating habits and promote a positive lunchtime environment
• Ensure children are safely escorted to and from the playground
• Be a visible presence on the playground, ensuring that all pupils are engaged and safe during outdoor play

Lunchtime Supervisor requirements:

• Experience working with children is desirable, though not essential
• A friendly and approachable personality with a passion for supporting children
• Ability to maintain a calm and positive approach, even during busy or challenging situations
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Essential – willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check, or already holds one registered on the update service
