SEN Teaching Assistant – Lambeth

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a school that comprises of a hard working and dedicated staff team who are committed to delivering a curriculum that stimulates, challenges and inspires all pupils.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working on a 1:1 and small group basis with children with a range of SEN, including Autism, behaviour issues, and speech and language difficulties

JOB DESCRIPTION – SEN Teaching Assistant
- SEN Teaching Assistant
- Working with children on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Supporting children with a range of SEN – Autism, SEMH, S & L
- Providing support in and out of the classroom
- Working alongside a range of professionals and SENCO
- Long Term & Full Time – until at least July 2025
- £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
PERSON SPECIFICATION – SEN Teaching Assistant
- Strong academics across the board including degree (ideal but not essential), A levels & GCSEs
- Good understanding of SEN is required
- Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN, would be ideal
- You must be able to work effectively as part of a team, and be willing to learn
- Must have an outgoing, forward-thinking and creative personality
- Calm and compassionate nature
- Holds a registered DBS, or be willing to apply for one ASAP
