As a specialist Secondary school and Sixth Form, we are looking to appoint a passionate and innovative Media Production Teacher.

 

As a Media Production Teacher, you will join our exceptional team and play a key role in shaping the future of creative education. This is a rare opportunity to lead and expand our Media and Broadcast Production offering, providing students with the skills, experiences, and industry connections they need to thrive.

 

We are looking to invite exceptional and enthusiastic Media graduates with vision and expertise to support the school’s dynamic Media Department. 

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and creative teacher who is looking to support the Media Department in planning and delivering the curriculum, and for monitoring the progress of students.

Media Production Teacher

  • Opportunity to work in an innovative, industry-connected educational setting
  • Deliver high quality, engaging Content Production / Broadcast Media lessons to KS4 & KS5 students under the UAL Creative Media Production and technology specification
  • Subjects are technical, vocational and practical - you won't be teaching GCSE or A Level Media and Film Studies!
  • Play a pivotal role in developing and launching our KS5 Content Production course
  • Collaborate with industry partners to ensure the curriculum reflects current trends and skills demanded by the creative industry
  • Guide and mentor students as they develop practical skills and theoretical knowledge relevant to broadcast media. Creative production, studio operations, social media etc.
  • Contribute to wider school initiatives, such as supporting extra-curricular programmes and potentially teaching EPQ, PSHE, Media Business and Careers
  • Facilitating the school’s goal of high student achievement
  • Full time and permanent contract – employed by the school
  • Passionate and inspiring teacher with experience in Media, Broadcast or related fields
  • Experience teaching media courses or a second subject would be highly desirable
  • Outer London pay scale MPS / UPS
