The school caters for young people aged between 6 and 19 years old with an Education Health Care Plan, who have struggled in mainstream education due to their special educational needs.

• Working in a SEN school – teaching children with EHCPs
• Teaching English to students with SEN KS3 – KS5
• Differentiating learning according to SEN
• Planning and delivering inspiring and challenging learning opportunities
• Experience with trauma informed approaches
• Outstanding behaviour management skills
• Full time and permanent contract
• Outer London pay scale – MPS / UPS + SEN Allowance

Person Specification – English Teacher

• MUST HAVE UK QTS
• Good academics required - GCSEs, A Levels and Degree
• Strong understanding of the SEN curriculum & teaching standards
• Proven record of good / outstanding feedback from lesson observations / performance management
• Articulate, creative and dedicated to supporting children with SEN
• Passionate, positive & team player required
• Confident & strong classroom management skills
• Enthusiastic and committed to teaching children with SEN
