KS1 SEMH Teaching Assistant – Islington Primary School – ASAP start

A fantastic school in the London borough of Islington is looking for an exceptional KS1 SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team to support students across various Key Stages.  

The ideal KS1 SEMH Teaching Assistant will have proven experience working with and supporting children with a range of needs, however experience with pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) difficulties is desirable.  You will be collaborating with Teachers, SENCOs and Therapists to support the students through a combination of 1:1 intervention, small group activities and general classroom support.

THE ROLE - KS1 SEMH Teaching Assistant

 

  • KS1 SEMH Teaching Assistant
  • £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
  • Supporting targeted student with Special Educational Needs (SEMH)
  • 1:1 support in and out of the classroom
  • ASAP start after successful trial day
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate required
  • Full-time & long-term – 8:40am – 3:30pm, Monday-Friday – Term-Time Only
  • Ideal for those who are compassionate, calm, confident, motivational, and ideally experienced in working in similar SEN roles previously
