Experienced Teaching Assistant - Special School

Hours of work: 8.45am-3.30pm Mon-Fri term time only
£100+ per day
We are looking for experienced SEN teaching assistants to join our hard working and supportive staff at our Special School.
We are a school for pupils with complex medical needs, physical disabilities and learning difficulties and include pupils and students in Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Post 16. We are a happy and successful learning environment where we value creativity and celebrate everyone’s efforts to participate and contribute to the best of their ability.
Our Teaching Assistants are based in a class and support learning, therapy programmes, medical and personal care.
You will be enthusiastic and creative with experience of working with children and at least a Level 2 qualification in an education or care related area. We will provide further training and support, fantastic colleagues and amazing children.
We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. You will have a safeguarding responsibility if appointed. The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references. This post is not exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
