Salary: £16,657.15 - £17,888.88 (Actual)

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Sutton. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide tailored support to a child in Key Stage 2, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally. As part of the role, you will also support during the lunch break to ensure the child’s well-being and development in a play setting.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEND)
• Experience in delivering speech and language interventions (preferable but not essential)
• A caring, positive attitude and strong communication skills
• The ability to work independently while collaborating with teachers and the wider school team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support for a child with SEND, both in the classroom and during playtime
• Deliver support to improve outcomes and support emotional well-being
• Work collaboratively with teachers to create a positive learning environment
• Encourage engagement, independence, and social interaction
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment during lunch breaks
