£95 +  per day

We are currently seeking a dedicated and creative SEND Teaching Assistant to join our Secondary School in Islington, North London. 

We’re specifically looking for candidates with an Arts or Drama background, who have some previous experience working with children as well as the ability to engage students using creative and artistic methods. 

 The successful candidate for this Creative Graduate TA position will be responsible for providing support to students with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring their individual needs are met in a creative and engaging manner. 

 

Job Responsibilities – Creative Graduate TA 

  • Supporting students with SEND on a one-to-one basis 
  • Adapting and differentiating work to meet the diverse needs of students 
  • Overcoming barriers to learning and behaviour in a positive and proactive manner 
  • Developing social awareness and understanding in students with SEND 
  • Enhancing communication skills through visual resources 
  • Using your creative background and imagination to plan and deliver engaging learning techniques  

 

Canidate Requirements: Creative Graduate TA 

  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities 
  • Understanding of autism, severe learning difficulties, and other SEND conditions 
  • Ability to differentiate teaching methods to meet individual student needs 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning
