About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Science teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5. The successful candidate will be able to inspire students in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (depending on specialism) and contribute to the continued success of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science at KS3, GCSE, and A-Level (specialism in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology).
- Develop and deliver innovative and engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking and curiosity in scientific concepts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to further develop the Science curriculum.
- Support students through practical experiments and promote the development of their investigative skills.
- Participate in extracurricular activities to enrich students' learning experiences.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Science or a related field
- Experience teaching GCSE Science (and A-Level if possible) is desirable
- A passion for Science education and inspiring young learners
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to promoting the values and ethos of the school
