KS1 Teacher – Wandsworth - January 2025

A successful Primary School with an OFSTED “Good” is looking to appoint an experienced KS1 Teacher to join their team from January 2025. The role requires the teacher to build from the existing curriculum and use their experience to create exciting and challenging frameworks. 

The school is looking to progress into “Outstanding” and the successful candidate will have that ambition for the school. Excellent subject knowledge and differentiated practices along with formative and summative assessment are key. Previous experience working to boost oracy skills would also be encouraged. The role can be flexible across either Yr1 or Yr2 depending on the right candidate and experience.

Person Specification – KS1 Teacher  

  • Must hold UK QTS  
  • Strong academic background including degree, A levels & GCSEs  
  • Applying excellent subject knowledge to teach an engaging curriculum  
  • Graded ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ in recent lesson observations
