Drama Teacher– Lambeth – Long-term – January 2025

ROLE: Drama Teacher (QTS)

PAY: MPS 1-6 – Inner London

START:  January 2025

CONTRACT TYPE: Full time and Long-term, until July 2025

A successful mixed Secondary School in the heart of Southwest London is looking to appoint a creative Drama Teacher, on a long-term basis for a January 2025 start.

Job description – Drama Teacher

  • Drama Teacher (QTS)
  • Working across a range of Secondary School ages, predominantly Years 7-13
  • Teaching English in KS3, KS4 & KS5
  • Planning and delivering inspiring and challenging Drama lessons
  • Working alongside a successful Performing Arts Team
  • January 2025 start
  • Long-term and full time
  • MPS 1-6
  • Located in Southwest London - Lambeth

Person Specification – Unqualified Drama Teacher

  • Must have at least 1 year’s teaching experience – ESSENTIAL to be shortlisted
  • UK QTS is essential
  • Strong academic background including degree, A levels & GCSEs – related to Drama/Performing Arts
  • Applications welcomed from experienced teachers and ECTs
  • Graded ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ in recent lesson observations
  • Ability to teach Drama across the key stages to a high calibre
  • Good understanding of the Drama curriculum
  • An advocate for your subject of Drama
  • Able to deliver creative and engaging Drama lessons
  • Team player - able to work both independently as well as part of a team
