About the Role

Our school is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science from January 2025. We welcome you to apply if you are an ECT (NQT). You will support the Head of Science to develop an inventive approach to teaching Science so that all pupils are inspired to succeed and maintain standards of teaching across the teaching and learning curriculum.

About you

We are seeking a qualified teacher to join our Science team as a Teacher of Science, we welcome applications from ECTs.

You will have high expectations, a commitment to raising standards of attainment and up-to-date knowledge of teaching and behaviour management strategies.

We are seeking passionate and driven individuals with good communication and organisational skills and a desire to make a difference to the lives of our pupils and their communities.

The Essentials:

  • A strong academic background: a degree-level qualification (related to English), ideally 2:1 or above and UK Qualified Teacher Status
  • The ability to teach to GCSE and A-Level standard
  • Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement
  • Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners
