The Details – Experienced Teaching Assistant

  • Wandsworth, Southwest London
  • Experienced Teaching Assistant – must have previous experience of working with primary or secondary aged children with SEN
  • £90-£105 per day (weekly pay)
  • ASAP start
  • Long term until at least July 2025

Experienced Teaching Assistant Role:

We are working with a range of Primary and Secondary Schools across SW London, and we are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants who are able to show enthusiasm, positive can-do attitudes, reliability, initiative and are confident to support children with various SEN.

Key responsibilities within the role - Experienced Teaching Assistant:

  • Attend to pupils' personal needs, and implement related personal programmes (must be comfortable taking both girls and boys to the toilet)
  • Providing support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
  • Building and maintaining successful relationships with students, whilst treating them with respect and consideration
  • Have the highest expectation that every student will make sustained academic and personal progress
  • Ensure that every pupil is ready for the next steps in their learning and is supported to participate and contribute to
