Graduate Teaching Assistant

Role: Graduate Teaching Assistant

At Clarus Education, we are working with a number of Primary & Secondary Schools across Southwest London who are looking for long-term Teaching Assistants ASAP for the remainder of the academic year.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you are expected to:

  • Work collaboratively and supportively with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
  • Provide support to pupils so that they can access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement
  • Act with honesty and integrity to uphold comparable standards to other education professionals, in order to make the education of pupils your first concern
  • Demonstrating values and behaviours consistent with your professional role
  • Work with other education professionals


Pay: £90-100 per day (for the first 12 weeks – AWR)

Contract: Long-term

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Richmond-Upon-Thames, Southwest London

 

The Essentials:

  • Experience in supporting children (3-18 years) within an educational setting
  • A hardworking and drivenindividual who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements 
  • A strong academic background – (A-C GCSEs, A-C A-Levels, 2:2 or above Undergraduate Degree)
  • A bubbly, enthusiastic personality with the ability to engage children well
  • Aspirations to gain experience of working with children to benefit your chosen career path 
  • You MUST be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic & adaptable 
  • Have or be willing to have an Enhanced DBS check
