Our client school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to provide additional support to a KS1 pupil with ADHD and behavioural difficulties.

As well as providing more specific support, you also work closely alongside the class teacher to ensure that all the needs of all pupils are met. This Outstanding school is committed to enriching their students with the best education and does so by providing a first class learning environment.

The ideal candidate will come from a background of working with SEN or have extensive knowledge of complex emotional needs. This candidate will be willing and ready to hit the ground running!

JOB ROLE – SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT

• 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
• Working alongside the SENCO and a range of healthcare professionals – Psychologists & Therapists
• Set individual targets and action plans
• Full time & long-term role – until at least July 2025
• £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

PERSON SPECIFICATION – SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT:

• Strong academics across the board (degree, A level & GCSEs)
• SEN experience is highly desirable
• Passionate about working with children
• Great behaviour management skills
• Calm and warm natured
• Willing to exceed expectations of job role
• Particularly suited to Psychology graduates
