Class Teacher - Responsibilities:
- Teaching & Learning: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students in Key Stage 2, ensuring their academic and personal development.
- Assessment & Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting high expectations for learning outcomes.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment using effective behaviour management strategies.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional learning, contributing to the development of teaching practices within the school.
- Safeguarding: Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
Class Teacher – Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent, and an undergraduate degree.
- Proven experience of teaching the primary curriculum, particularly in Key Stage 2.
- A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
- Knowledge of child development and how it impacts teaching and learning.
- A commitment to behaviour management and creating a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
