Clarus Education are actively looking to recruit a graduate with experience, or experienced Teaching Assistant to support children with Speech, Language and Communication needs. A bright, articulate and caring candidate is required for his role of SEN Teaching Assistant.
If successful, you will be tasked with supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis, who have additional needs associated with speech and language difficulties. This is a full-time position, for the entire academic year. You will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and experience within a fantastic primary school, located within Southwark – London.
Teaching Assistant - Criteria:
- PERFECT for an aspiring Speech Therapist
- Excellent academics – 1st Class or 2:1 Degree
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Support role an advantage
- Experience with Speech, Language & Communication ideally required
- Down to earth & patient individual required
- Strength in Maths & English a MUST
Teaching Assistant – Role requirements:
- Full time SEN teaching Assistant
- ASAP start
- 1:1 & small group - in class support
- Work closely with the class teacher – develop and deliver separate curriculum
- Focus on Literacy, Numeracy & Speech Development
- Involved in wider school activities – Lunchtime & After School clubs
- Pay: £85 – £105 daily rate
