EYFS & KS1 Teaching Assistant – Sutton - ASAP / January Start

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic Primary School. Situated at the heart of our wonderful diverse community we are privileged to receive fantastic support from our children, parents and friends of the school.

Teaching Assistant - About the role:

To support the next phase of development the Trustees are seeking to appoint additional experienced, bright, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and inclusive school.

Teaching Assistant – Job specification:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
• Hold at least a Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification
• Able promote high standards of attainment and behaviour
• Inspirational, enthusiastic and highly motivated
• Able to work as part of a team and take individual lead as appropriate
• Ability to assist teachers in planning and preparation of lessons appropriate to the class and individuals
• Support SEN/PPG lead in a range of intervention strategies
• Assist in the monitoring of pupils’ progress and assess work to achieve individual progression and whole school improvement
• Promote the wellbeing of pupils, providing guidance and support
