Music Teacher - About the role:
We wish to appoint an innovative teacher to join our successful Music Department from January 2025. This is a full -time post working 5 days a week. Please note only candidates with QTS will be shortlisted.
The successful candidate will be a pro-active, flexible and enthusiastic professional with the innovation and commitment to teach Music. You will also be an effective classroom teacher with the ability to raise achievement of all students along with the commitment to develop and run weekly extra-curricular activities for students. You will support extra-curricular activities including a calendar of concerts, assemblies and public performances.
Music Teacher – School details:
Music is very successful at our Southwark School, with a large uptake at GCSE and A Level students progressing to study Music at university. We pride ourselves on the strength of our Music department and actively promote both musical and drama performances through our programme of concerts and assemblies.
