Communication Support Teaching Assistant – Islington Primary School – ASAP 2024

An excellent Primary school in Islington is seeking a Communication Support Teaching Assistant with a strong character, to work with a targeted student in their Year 1 Class. The student has quite complex and significant needs, with a diagnosis of Autism and Communication and Language Delay and needs support with emotional regulation as well as managing his sensory needs.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with and supporting children with a range of needs.  You will be collaborating with Teachers, SENCOs and Therapists to support the students through a combination of 1:1 interventions, small group activities and general classroom support.
