Salary – £85 - £100 per day
We are currently looking to recruit Learning Support Teaching Assistant to join our Islington Secondary School on a full-time and long-term basis starting ASAP 2024. The role of a Learning Support Teaching Assistants is to aid the Teacher in delivering curriculum to the class and support the pupils in their understanding of teacher led learning activities. We are looking for an individual who wants to lead small groups of pupils, teaching lessons and/or intervention groups.
We are looking for graduates who have passion for education, who are forward thinking and who love working with children. Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential and experience in a school environment is preferred.
Candidate Specification – Teaching Assistant
- 2:1 or 1st Class Degree
- Experience working with children – a must
- Experience working with SEND – a must
- Enthusiastic personality and keenness to work hard
- Interest in working with children and SEN
