Experienced English Teacher – About the role:

Located within Inner London, Zone 2, we are a mixed Secondary Comprehensive actively looking to recruit and appoint an experienced English Teacher.

All applicants will need be a qualified English Teacher with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, hold UK QTS and have sound subject knowledge, supported by a 2:1 degree. There is real scope for progression for outstanding practitioners and the opportunity to develop further thanks to the school’s proactive approach to CPD.

Experienced English Teacher – Job details:

• Working within a team of 12 in the English Department
• Setting the standards and leading from the front
• Driving standards across the Department
• Teaching Timetable – KS3,4 & 5
• Inner London
• MPS – UPS3 + TLR (dependent upon candidate)
• Located in the Borough of Southwark

Experienced English Teacher – requirements:

• Must have UK QTS
• Strong subject knowledge is essential
• The ability to work alongside others collaboratively
• A strong drive to maintain and improve the standard of education
• Previous responsibility within an English Department is essential
