Economics and Business Studies Teacher – Islington – January 2025 

A fantastic and inclusive Secondary School in the Borough of Bromley is looking to appoint an Economics and Business Studies Teacher/ ECT for a January 2025 start. The Head Teacher is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Economics and Business Studies Teacher/ ECT, who is dedicated to inspiring young people in their field of expertise and knowledge. As an Economics and Business Studies Teacher/ ECT, you will join their team on a permanent contract from January and will be employed directly by the school.

The school are looking for an Economics and Business Studies Teacher/ ECT who: 

  • Holds UK QTS  
  • Experience in teaching Key Stages 3 & 4, with the option to teach KS5 
  • Strong academic background in GCSEs, A Levels and Degrees preferably linked to Economics and Business Studies  
  • Ambitious and driven personality 
  • Pro – active approach 
  • Able to teach Economics and Business Studies to a high calibre 
  • Good understanding and experience teaching the UK’s National curriculum 
  • Graded ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ in recent lesson observations 
  • Must be able to work within a fantastic team of teachers across the school
