JOB DESCRIPTION: KS1 Teaching Assistant  

Your role as a KS1 Teaching Assistant will include but not be limited to: 

• Graduate Teaching Assistant 

• ASAP 2024 start 

• 5 days a week, 8:30am until 4:30pm 

• £85- £100 per day  

• Providing a class teacher with support in the day to day running of learning 

• Leading activities with a small group of children 

• Working with children of all abilities 

• Perfect experience for a career in: Teaching, Psychology, Youth or Social work 

PERSON SPECIFICATION: KS1 Teaching Assistant  

The ideal candidate for this KS1 Teaching Assistant position will have the following: 

• 2:1 or higher degree from a reputable university 

• Creative, team player and motivated 

• Experience working in a child related setting 

• Understanding of the UK curriculum and Education system 

• Enjoys working with and developing children’s learning 

• Is happy to take part in new training and learn from others 

• Strong English and Maths skills
