SEND HLTA – About the role:

We are actively looking to recruit and appoint a passionate, knowledgeable and experienced SEND HLTA. The role will involve overseeing, planning and running an alternative provision classroom, alongside the Inclusion lead and qualified Speech & Language Therapist. As a HLTA you will be tasked with working across with children with complex needs associated with ASD.

 

Applicants will ideally have had experience as a HLTA, delivering specific ASD interventions, understand sensory needs and approaches to communication for pupils who do not have a functional communication system.

 

SEND HLTA – Requirements and opportunity:

  • Extensive SEND experience required!
  • ASD specialist or experience from within a specialist setting required!
  • Scope to become a permanent fixture!
  • Paid £110 - £140 per day (depending on experience)
  • Good graded Primary School (Mainstream)
