We are currently working with a brilliant, inclusive mainstream Primary School in Southwest London, who are looking to recruit multiple SEN Teaching Assistants to support a variety of pupils with Autism / ASD, across the Early Years, Key Stage and 2.

Location: South London

Contract: Full-Time, till at least July 2025

Salary: £90 - £100 per day

Graduate Teaching Assistant - Criteria:

  • SEN Teaching Assistant – ideal for Psychology Graduates
  • Graduates ONLY – perfect for aspiring Primary Teachers or Educational Psychologists
  • Degree required – 2:1 or above
  • Outstanding Mainstream Primary School
  • Excellent access & public transport links
  • £90+ per day – Term Time

 

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Personal Specification:

  • The leadership team of this exciting Primary School are looking to recruit several empathetic and enthusiastic Psychology graduates to join the SEN support team as SEN Teaching Assistants for the entire academic year.
  • All applicants must be graduates, confident in their own academic ability and ideally with an interest in Special Needs, Mental Health, Autism / ASD.
  • The leadership team have stressed that they are looking for individuals with personality. SEN Teaching Assistant positions can be challenging yet truly rewarding.
  • It requires somebody 100% committed, with a calm and caring approach coupled with the ability to apply initiative and creativity when supporting 1:1 or with a small group of learners.

 

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Job Specification:

  • Multiple SEN Teaching Assistant positions – Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm term time only.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity for a Psychology Graduate with a focus in building their experience around working with and supporting children with special needs (Autism / ASD). If successful in your application and trial, you will become part of a wonderful Primary School, working as part of a tight knit and supportive team, and led by a brilliant SENCO.
  • Daily tasks will see you supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, delivering interventions and in class support.
  • Liaising with specialist teachers as well as with external specialists – Speech Therapists – Educational Psychologists.
