Nursery Teaching Assistant – Job Specification:

• Nursery Teaching Assistant
• Applicants will need previous childcare / Early Years experience
• NVQ level 2 or Degree / Graduate required
• Permanent & Full-time position
• All year-round position – 37.5hrs per week – Monday to Friday
• Responsible for planning, preparing & delivering engaging & creative lessons
• Support a learning culture that encourages pupils to foster a love for learning
• Create a stimulating, safe & positive learning environment
• Use assessments of key children to help planning in the classroom
• Maintain professional knowledge with current EYFS framework
• Located in the Borough of Croydon– South London

Nursery Teaching Assistant – Personal Specification:

• Nursery Teaching Assistant
• Experienced & suitably qualified
• NVQ Level 2 + or degree
• Previous EYFS experience required!
• Someone passionate & positive required!
• Sound knowledge of the current EYFS framework
• Evidence of excellent classroom practice
• Have a firm grasp of safeguarding policies, procedures and code of conduct
• Able to demonstrate personal commitment to safeguarding & child / colleague wellbeing
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Be willing to train & develop skills on an ongoing basis
