About the role – SEN Teacher (mainstream)

This SEN Teacher position will initially be for 2 terms, starting January, until the end of the school year. The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) are looking at making this position into a permanent fixture, due to the needs within Years 1-4.

 

If successful, you will oversee, plan for and run an alternative provision classroom, alongside the Inclusion lead and qualified Speech & Language Therapist. You will be tasked with leading across two alternative provision groups for children with complex needs associated with ASD, with a mix of children in Years 1-4.

 

Applicants will require extensive SEND experience, delivering specific ASD interventions, have a good understanding of sensory needs and approaches to communication for pupils who do not have a functional communication system.

 

***The schools’ supportive and established SLT are looking to interview and observe ASAP***

 

SEN Teacher opportunity:
