SEN Teacher – SEN School

 

We are currently seeking a Qualified SEN Teacher to join our specialist SEN school in Barking and Dagenham.

 

Role: SEN Teacher (Opportunities across Key Stages)

Location: Barking and Dagenham

Salary: Inner London Main Pay Scale (£38,766 - £50,288) plus SEN Allowance

Contract: Full Time, Permanent Contract

Start: January 2025 or sooner

 

Our Special School for pupils aged 4-18, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEN Teacher to join our dynamic and inspirational team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education to pupils with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), and severe learning difficulties (SLD).

Therefore, experience of working with students with these particular needs is essential to be considered for this role.

We welcome applicants from ECT’s and experienced Teachers alike, as we offer fantastic training and progression opportunities within our growing school.

We are seeking a SEN Teacher with the following experience and qualifications:

MUST have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Must have experience working with pupils with special educational needs, or a proven interest in teaching pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties

Ability to differentiate curriculum delivery for pupils

Demonstrable skill in implementing individualised goals and objectives to address the core features of SEN

Ability to work as a member of a team as well as lead

Excellent personal organization, communication, and ICT skills

Proven record of good to outstanding practice

The successful SEN Teacher will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
