Our specialist School is seeking enthusiastic and motivated SEN Teachers to join our dedicated team, supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
SEN Teacher - Key Responsibilities:
Inspire and motivate students, fostering an inclusive environment that promotes learning for all abilities.
Deliver high-quality teaching to learners with complex learning needs, adapting lessons to meet the individual needs of students.
Work collaboratively with school staff; other SEN Teachers, specialists, and other professionals to support the holistic development of students.
Be proactive in engaging with the wider community and school stakeholders, contributing to the school’s inclusive ethos.
Lead and manage staff in providing 1:1, small group, and whole-class teaching.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, ensuring that all students make measurable achievements.
SEN Teacher - Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in teaching children with SEND as a SEN Teacher.
Proven experience in an inclusive setting, demonstrating an understanding of the Inclusion Agenda.
Ability to create engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning needs and abilities.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Experience working in a special school or with children with complex needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
A strong understanding of the curriculum and relevant teaching methods, including knowledge of phonics and early mathematics.
Leadership skills to support colleagues and drive high standards of teaching and learning.
