SEN Teaching Assistant – Hillingdon

 

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: SEN School, Hillingdon

Salary: £95 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

Hours: 38.5 hours per week

Contract: Long Term, Term Time Only

 

Our specialist school, catering for students with a variety of learning difficulties, is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team as soon as possible.

 

Our students are taught in small class sizes, with a curriculum focused on functional skills. Our staff utilise a range of innovative teaching strategies to ensure that each pupil can develop and progress according to their unique learning styles.

 

Our Teaching Assistants work closely with pupils diagnosed with Autism and additional needs. They play an important role in preparing learning materials, running classroom activities, and supporting both the emotional and physical well-being of the students.

The SEN Teaching Assistant, School and Role –

  • The SEN Teaching Assistant MUST have existing experience with SEN
  • Graduates would be ideal for this role, but not essential
  • Committed, welcoming of hard work, empathetic, calm, patient
  • SEN School – all through school for ages 3 - 19
  • Accessible via the Elizabeth Line
  • On site parking
  • Full-time, Long-term role – Starting ASAP
  • £95-£100 per day, depending on experience

 

There will be some children who require assistance with personal care, medical assistance, and specialist equipment (such as hoists), so to apply for this SEN Teaching Assistant role you MUST be happy to assist in these areas if required.
