SEN Teacher
Location: SEN School, Uxbridge
Salary: Up to £45,000 per year (depending on experience)
Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Start: January 2025
SEN Teacher - About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher at our School, you’ll work on our Secondary Site, teaching Key Stage 3 students (aged 11-13). You will play a key role in delivering engaging, tailored lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
Creative Lesson Planning: Designing fun, interactive lessons that support each pupil’s individual educational needs and promote their achievement.
Classroom Leadership: Managing classroom dynamics, ensuring pupils receive the support they need with help from our dedicated support staff.
Collaboration: Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), parents, and carers to provide regular feedback and foster a positive learning environment.
You will be teaching students who may present with challenging behaviour due to their varying needs, so experience working in an SEN setting is essential.
SEN Teacher - What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working in SEN schools or with pupils with complex additional needs.
Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of diverse learners.

SEN Teacher - About Our School:
Our School provides specialist education for around 185 pupils aged 3.5 to 19 across two sites.
Our Secondary School, where this role is based, supports approximately 125 pupils. We focus on small class sizes and personalised learning, with pupils working towards various qualifications depending on their abilities.
We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. You will have a safeguarding responsibility if appointed.
The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
