Speech and Language Therapist – SEN School – Lambeth – ASAP Start

We are looking for Speech and Language Therapists to work full time for an ‘Outstanding’ school for children with a range of social, emotional, mental health and learning needs. The ‘highly effective’ school consists only of specialist SEN Teachers and Therapists to provide a therapeutic approach with a strong emphasis on well being.

The school caters for children who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and you will be working alongside a range of other specialists to provide the best care and education for all pupils.

We have positions available for Speech and Language Therapists across our school sites as our successful school is expanding. Knowledge and experience of working with children with SEMH, ADHD, ODD and Autism are desirable.

Job Description – Speech and Language Therapist

• Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6)
• Opportunities to work in Primary and Secondary SEND Schools

• Full Time
• Permanent contract
• Salary £33,706 - £37,000 (depending on experience)
• Located in Borough of Lambeth

Person Specification – Speech and Language Therapist

• Must be HCPC registered
• Must have MA in SaLT
• Experience working in a similar role previously is desirable
• Good understanding of ACEs, SEMH, ODD, AD, ODD with a willingness to learn more
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent reporting skills to inform pupil development
