Behaviour Mentor – SEN School – ASAP Start
Are you seeking a rewarding experience in helping young people to better manage their emotional and behavioural challenges?
About the Role:
While previous experience is preferred, it is by no means essential. We value qualities such as empathy, a firm but fair approach and the ability to provide calm and measured support in challenging circumstances. If you possess these attributes and are patient, a good role model, personable, and highly dependable, we want to hear from you. Do you fit the bill?
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will collaborate closely with a dynamic team of trained professionals, including class teachers and other Behaviour Mentors. Together, you will work towards providing crucial support and guidance to students facing difficulties related to their individual Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs while supporting them to catch up on missed learning and achieve their academic targets.
Whether you aspire to become, or you are a former a Social/Youth Worker, Educational Psychologist, or SEN Teacher, this role will offer you the platform to utilise your existing skills and life experiences to positively influence the outlook and life path of young people who could really use a guiding light in their lives.
Apply today, and our dedicated consultants at Clarus Education will contact you to discuss this exciting opportunity further if you are shortlisted.
We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. You will have a safeguarding responsibility if appointed.
The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
This post is not exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
