Post: SEMH Behaviour Mentor

Location: Ealing

Contract Type: Long Term

Contract Hours: 8.30am – 4.30pm

Salary: £95 - £105 per day (depending on experience)

Post Start Date: ASAP

 

We are looking for effective SEMH Behaviour Mentors to work with a range of pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs at our specialist school.

Many of our pupils also have other special needs such as autism, ADHD and / or learning difficulties. We are looking for candidates who are excellent role models and can guide our pupils to make pro-social choices while supporting them with their emotional regulation and resilience.

Our SEMH Behaviour Mentors work collaboratively with a range of other staff such as the Class Teacher, LSAs and Therapists. If you are looking to make a difference and be part of an effective and friendly team then this role is perfect for you.

£95 - £105 per day (depending on experience)

Person Specification – SEMH Behaviour Mentor

Experience of Autism and SEN essential

Prior experience working in a school desirable

Passionate and committed

Ability to work as part of a team

Excellent communication skills

Good literacy and numeracy skills

Resilient and calm

Enthusiastic with a good sense of humour
