Our new school for autistic students in Kingston is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our team and support our pupils to reach their full potential, with both academic and personal goals.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in our students' growth, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Teaching Assistant – Responsibilities:

Providing individualized support through 1:1, paired, and small group teaching

Supervising and encouraging pupils during community-based learning and educational trips

Using creativity to prepare teaching materials and resources

Supporting pupils in developing essential life skills, communication, and independence

Teaching Assistant - What We’re Looking For:

Compassion: Empathy and understanding of the challenges autistic young people face

Patience: Consistent, patient, and encouraging support

Adaptability: Flexibility in teaching methods to meet individual needs

Team Spirit: A collaborative mindset to work with educators, therapists, and families

Experience: Previous work as a Teaching Assistant or with children with Autism is highly desirable
