Job Title: Primary SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Wandsworth

Salary: £95 - £110 a day (depending on experience)

Hours: 8am – 4.30pm, Term Time Only

Employment Type: Long Term Contract

Start Date: ASAP

 

We are currently looking for a committed individual to join our strong and professional support team as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

About our School:

Our Primary Specialist school in Wandsworth serves students between the ages of 4 and 11 who have mild to moderate complex learning needs, including Autism.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Our ideal candidate:

We are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting student with SEN and who is a real team player.

Having a positive mentality and a sense of humour is also highly desirable, as the role can be challenging at teams, and our team of dedicated Teaching Assistants support each other very well. We are looking for individuals who will complement the Outstanding team we already have.

 

Essentials:

  • Available to start ASAP
  • MUST hold an enhanced DBS check
  • MUST have Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Effective team and interpersonal skills
  • Good physical health
  • Previous experience of working with Autism is essential
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable
