Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: SEN School, Bexley
Type: Full Time / Long Term
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £95 - £105 a day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking an effective and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at our specialist Secondary School in Bexley as soon as possible.
We cater for children between the ages of 11 and 16, with a range of learning and SEMH needs.
Our ideal candidate would have previous experience working with children with these needs, ideally within a specialist school environment, however school experience is not essential as training can be provided.

Teaching Assistants with the following experience and qualifications are encouraged to apply:
- Experienced or Aspiring Teaching Assistant
- MUST have experience working with Special Educational Needs
- GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent in English and Maths (desirable)
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Experience working in a specialist school environment (desirable)
- NVQ2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications or experience (desirable)
- Ability to motivate and inspire
- Patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students
- Clear communication skills, both orally and in writing
