  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Experience of teaching children across the primary phase
  • Experience of working in an multi-cultural school
  • Experience of working with children of varying needs
  • Experience of working effectively -within a team, including leading support staff
  • Experience of leading a curriculum area (desirable)
  • Knowledge of the 2014 National Curriculum requirements across the primary phase
  • Knowledge of how to devise an engaging and experiential curriculum.
  • Knowledge of a range of assessment procedures, including formative and summative.
