We are searching for confident, hardworking, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a wonderful inclusion team within a large mainstream Secondary School in Sutton, South London. This is an excellent opportunity for those aspiring to become Educational Psychologists, Counsellors, Social Workers. Or, Teachers looking to gain hands-on experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs.

The Head Teacher is eager to recruit a Graduate with a strong academic background and the passion necessary to support students across key stages with a variety of special educational needs (SEND).

Job Description - Learning Support Assistant:

  • Full-time LSA post
  • ASAP start
  • Provide academic and social support across KS3, KS4 & KS5
  • Focus on SEN and ASD support
  • £90 - £100 per day

Person Specification – Learning Support Assistant:

  • 1st Class or 2:1 Graduates
  • Must be empathetic and possess sound SEN knowledge
  • Passionate about supporting pupils with additional learning needs
  • Ideal for those pursuing careers as Psychologists, Counsellors, Social Workers, or Teachers

School Information – Learning Support Assistant:

  • Large mainstream Secondary School – mixed sex
  • Fantastic inclusion team led by a supportive SENCo
  • Located in Sutton, South London
  • In-house training provided to all LSAs
