SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 support – Camden – North London – ASAP start  

We are currently recruiting a full-time, long-term SEN Teaching Assistant to join our leading and dedicated team at a primary school in the north London borough of Camden, to support a targeted student in Year 3 with complex needs. 

If successful, you will join a talented staff, within one of Camden’s leading Primary Schools. You will be supporting a targeted student with complex needs and high levels of dysregulation. Support with personal care is required for this role.

Teaching Assistant Applicant Requirements: 

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN - essential  

• Ability to handle challenging situations with care 

• Degree (ideally), A Level and GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) in English and Maths 

• Strong communication and active listening skills 

• Ability to build effective relationships with pupils and adults 

• Team Teach trained is ideal but not essential 

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

Your role as a SEN Teaching Assistant will include but not be limited to:  

• 1:1 SEN support 

• Targeted student in Year 3 with complex needs 

• Personal care required 

• Collaborating with Teachers, SENCO and therapists  

• Full time role: 8:30am – 4:30pm 

• Long term role  

• £85 - £100 per day 

• ASAP start
