POSITION: 1:1 Teaching Assistant 

SCHOOL: OUTSTANDING Primary School – EYFS – Year 6 

LOCATION: Camden 

TRANSPORT: Short walk to Northern and Picadilly Line Stations 

CANDIDATE: Confident, creative with knowledge of complex needs 

QUALIFICATIONS: 1st Class or 2:1 Degree (English related degree preferred) 

START DATE: ASAP 2024 

PAY: £85 - £100 per day  

An Outstanding Camden Primary School are searching for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term and full-time basis.  

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a targeted student with complex needs and high levels of dysregulation. Support with personal care is required for this role. Experience in a similar role or environment is essential for this role, and the ideal candidate would be Team Teach trained, though this is not essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 1:1 Teaching Assistant 

• 1:1 Teaching Assistant 

• Supporting targeted child with complex needs 

• Personal care required 

• Open to Graduates and qualified Teaching Assistants 

• Term time only, Monday – Friday  

• 8:30 – 16:30  

• Full time position  

• Long term position – until at least July 2025 

• ASAP 2024 start 

• £85-£100 per day 

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: 1:1 Teaching Assistant 

• 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable UK University 

• Creative, driven and strong-minded 

• Able to work well within a team 

• An interest in working with children/ in education 

• High standards of Maths and English 

• Previous experience working with children or education preferable

• High standards of English and Maths – supported with intervention teachers 

• Collaborative staff with a forward thinking SLT 

• Located in the London borough of Camden
