The role will involve working 1:1 with a child who has Autism (ASD). The child has high support needs autism and requires routine, structure, and a confident support system.  

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience with SEN, particularly ASD as well as a degree or interest in the field.

Candidate Specification – Autism Teaching Assistant  

• 2:1 or 1st Class Degree 

• Experience working with children – a must 

• Experience working with SEN or ASD – preferred 

• Enthusiastic personality and keenness to work hard 

• Interest in working with children and SEN 

Job Role Details – Autism Teaching Assistant  

• 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant 

• Supporting within lessons and in individual work 

• Running / planning interventions based on needs of the student/s 

• £85 - £100 per day 

• 5 days per week, full time role 

• Long term contract 

• ASAP start 2024
